Rosa Canfora
Carrying on in the family tradition, Rosa Canfora is an expert wax model designer for jewelry. Growing up with her father (a practicing goldsmith), she came to Florence where she finished Art High School with her specialization in jewelry, and then received her diploma in Sculpture fron the Florence Fine Arts Academy.
For the last 25 years, Rosa Canfora has worked in Florence creating collections for various jewelry and silverware producers (private companies and non-profit organizations, public service).
For many years she has taught micro-fusion wax modeling and design on behalf of the Province of Florence and the Siena branch of the National Handicraft Corporation (C.N.A.).
She created a cultural bridge with Corse (France) by starting an artistic project which takes place every year between Florence and Portovecchio.
Her school is located in the heart of Florence, near Piazza del Duomo.
